Group Information

Public Financial Holdings Limited (the "Public Financial Holdings") is an investment holding company incorporated in Bermuda under the Companies Act 1981 on 16 August 1991. Its shares are listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (stock code : 626). The Public Financial Holdings is also included in the Hang Seng MidCap 50 Index.

The Company is a 55.4% owned subsidiary of Public Bank Berhad, the shares of which are listed on The Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange.

The major subsidiaries of the Company are Public Finance Limited ("Public Finance") and Winton Holdings (Bermuda) Limited ("Winton").

Public Finance was incorporated in Hong Kong on 20 October 1977 and was registered as a deposit-taking company under the Banking Ordinance on 31 January 1978. The principal activities of Public Finance are deposit taking, personal and commercial lending, operation of credit card business, mortgage financing, letting of investment properties, provision of finance to purchasers of taxis and public light buses, etc. In the course of enlarging its market share and enhancing its market position, Public Finance has built up a wide network of branches. With its present network of 37 branches, Public Finance is the largest deposit-taking company in Hong Kong in terms of branch network.

Winton was incorporated in Bermuda under the Companies Act 1981 with its shares currently listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (stock code : 510). Winton and its subsidiaries (the "Winton Group") are principally engaged in the provision of finance to purchasers of licensed public vehicles such as taxis and public light buses, the provision of personal and short term loans, trading of taxi cabs and taxi licences and leasing of taxis.

Tan Sri Dato' Dr. Teh Hong Piow

He is the founder and controlling shareholder of Public Bank Berhad, which is the controlling shareholder of Public Financial Holdings. Tan Sri Dato' Dr. Teh has been in the banking industry for more than 50 years.

Non-Executive Director	Datuk Tay Ah Lek He is the Executive Director of Public Bank Berhad and has more than 35 years' experience in the banking and financial sector. He was appointed Director of Public Financial Holdings in 1995.
Director/ Chief Executive	Tan Yoke Kong He has more than 18 years' experience in the banking sector. He joined Public Financial Holdings in 1991 and was appointed Director of Public Financial Holdings in 1992.
Director/ Alternate Chief Executive	Lee Huat Oon He has more than 12 years' experience in the banking sector. He joined Public Financial Holdings in 1995 and was appointed Director of Public Financial Holdings in 1996.
Non-Executive Director	Wong Kong Ming He is the General Manager of Public Bank Berhad, Hong Kong Branch and has more than 24 years' experience in the banking sector. He was appointed Director of Public Financial Holdings in 1996.
Independent Non-Executive Director	Cheah Cheng Hye He has more than 10 years' experience in the financial sector, prior to which he worked as a financial journalist for 12 years. He was appointed an Independent Non-Executive Director of Public Financial Holdings in 1993.
Independent Non-Executive Director	Geh Cheng Hooi, Paul He is a consultant with KPMG, Malaysia. Prior to this, Mr. Geh was with the same firm for 29 years and was the Senior Partner thereof. He was appointed an Independent Non-Executive Director of Public Financial Holdings in 1995.
